National Testing Agency, NTA, publishes the most important decision taken after the identification of 17 errors by the candidates who had challenged the provisional answer board raised online between February 02 & 04, 2026. NTA confirms that there is no revaluation or rechecking of candidates' answer sheets. Declared scores are final, and candidates can check the percentile and category-wise cut-offs after the score board is released. The agency said it is essential to maintain the integrity of the high-stakes JEE 2026 exam, and therefore, to retain it, no requests from candidates for revaluation shall be entertained. The NTA considers the scores calculated and updated after the final answer key of the challenged period shall be absolute—the window for candidates to apply to challenge the scores.

NTA shall hold the results of candidates in the following categories:

  1.  A candidate who had participated in the unfair means practices, UMP,

  2. A candidate may represent an identity-mismatch case of impersonation or an unauthorised Centre swap.
