JEE Main 2026 Session 2: Intimation on Exam City Released

Synopsis:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the allotment of exam centres for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 aspirants in advance. This release is intended to reassure aspirants as they can make formal preparations for transport and stay in the city, as issued by NTA. However, the exam centre is visible on the admit card, which is yet to be released online. The information below is the important details released in the official notification on the JEE Main website on March 21, 2026. 

Important Details on Intimation Exam City: JEE Main 2026 Session 2 

1. The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held on 02, 04, 05, 06, and 08 April 2026, Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech). On 7 April 2026, Paper 2A (B. Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning), and Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B. Planning both) shall be conducted. 

2. In this issue, NTA is conducting the examination in different cities across the country, including 15 cities outside India. 

3. NTA has intimated the allotment of examination cities on the official website in advance. 

4. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 aspirants are instructed to check their examination city intimation slip using the login credentials provided at the time of registration. 

5. Note:

1. The exam participating candidate must note that the following information is NOT the admit card for JEE Main - 2026 Session 2.

2. It is just advanced information that reveals the city where the exam is likely to take place. 

3. The candidate must understand that the Admit Card 2026 shall be issued later.

How to access the Intimation Exam City Webpage?

The candidate must access the official website at https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ and click the Candidate Activity section on the home page. 

The candidate must click the 'Advanced city intimation for JEE Main - 2026 (session II) link on the candidate activity. 

The advanced city intimation for JEE Main - 2026 Session II will redirect to another webpage containing the login page. 

The candidate must enter the application number, the password, and the security pin, then click the submit button. The website shall display the exam city.
