Synopsis:

 “Coming together is a beginning; Keeping together is progress; Working together is success.” It is something that Resonance Institutions in Hyderabad embrace. 

In the heart of Hyderabad City, the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium will transform into a massive gathering of parents, students, Resonance College academic faculty, and staff on April 14 at 09:30 am. It is not for fun, but to tour parents and their children through a detailed 2-year intensive integrated activity. An integration of regular academics and a competitive course program for IIT-JEE & NEET, known as Vikas & Saksham. It is a comprehensive course planner for our Class 11th students to be dealt with in detail. 

The assembly shall have a series of interactive sessions in which Sri. Purnachandra Rao. N, Director, Resonance Institutions, a key speaker who shall address the parents and the students who have taken admission to Resonance Junior College in the first year at various campuses spread across Hyderabad, Telangana. The entire session, labelled Reso Prarambh, shall be 2.5 hours long and cover all salient features of the educational activities conducted by Resonance campuses.

Reso-study resource: The core of Reso Learning

The study material has been built over a period of 24 years and regularly churned by an expert panel to better understand complex facts. The student must complete the core material in time. Upon completion, supplementary practice and reference materials are provided as needed, based on each student's learning curve.

Study Planner: 

  1. The study material shall present the academics in detail at the micro-level of planning. The planner involves every session from day one to the final exam day. The planners are built on the main course planner and revision planner. 

  2. In fact, Resonance Junior College delivers a macro version of the planner to first-year students. It creates study preferences that balance the competitive exams (JEE, NEET, EAMCET, BITSAT). 

What goes on in the classroom sessions?

  1. The learning process undergoes a predefined timetable, and teachers follow a set pattern that involves Conceptual explanations, Illustrative examples, and discussion of exercises and key problems. 

  2. During the class sessions, supervised practice of concepts and assignments, real-time academic support by Subject Teachers and Academic Leaders (AL/JL). After that, during the self-study hour, the student can make independent revisions under the supervision of Academic Leaders/Junior Lecturers, and, in the end, the student is encouraged to engage in structured self-practice to reinforce daily learning.  

  3. The daily practice problems (DPP) include regular assignments, classroom discussions & periodic testing based on DPPs. 

  4. An examination plan is a regular, ongoing, cyclical process of the academic structure, and it is important to track the student performance and exam readiness. These tests begin with weekly tests on Mondays during the Main Course, and their frequency increases during revisions. 

  5. Multiple types of tests: Resonance Junior College tests include MPT: Mains Part Test, MCT: Mains Cumulative Test, APT: Advanced Part Test, ∙ ACT: Advanced Cumulative Test, FST: Full Syllabus Test, EAMCET & BITSAT Model Tests, NPT: NEET Part Test, NCT: NEET Cumulative Test, & PT: Phase Tests. 

  6. Exam Paper Discussions: Students should participate in paper discussions to understand their mistakes and improve their strategies.

  7. Error Analysis: Students should maintain an error log book after each test. They should check for errors and establish an error-free zone. Students are encouraged to maintain an error log after each test for targeted improvement. 

  8. Intermediate Board Pattern Tests: Resonance Junior College shall conduct for Students Chapter-wise Slip Tests, Full-length board exams: Term 1, Term 2, Pre-Final 1 & 2.

  9. Results and Reporting: The college publishes results on the RESO notice board, and parents get a copy via SMS. Resonance Junior College advises parents to use the RESO Bridge app to view the latest daily updates. 

  10. Gyana Sutra - Its Importance The experts' panel presents a well-structured collection that details key formulas and chapter highlights. The information provides a revision of facts as soon as the chapter is complete. 

RESO Academic Framework 

  1. At Resonance Junior College, the academic routine is precisely scheduled and executed from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Saturday). 

  2. The daily academic sessions comprise core subjects for the MPC and BiPC batches. For each subject, the college allots 2 hours, comprising 80 minutes of conceptual teaching & 40 minutes of study hours with the same senior faculty to ensure continuity and clarity. 

  3. A regular assessment plan is conducted every Monday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. In the main course planner, two languages, such as English and Sanskrit, are scheduled for each week. 

RESO Monitoring & Mentoring Tools 

  1. Faculty serve as the best mentors, helping identify gaps and provide focused mentorship. 

  2. Chapter-wise practice sets to balance conceptual and application-level practice. 

  3. Daily MCQ Practice: Students are encouraged and guided to solve 10–15 MCQs daily in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; 40–60 MCQs daily in Biology (for NEET aspirants). 

  4. Notebook Tracking & Faculty Support (Monitoring tools): Students maintain solved notebooks, which are monitored by teaching faculty and supported with unsolved or incorrectly answered questions.  

  5. However, well-structured academics, focused mentoring, and personalised guidance help every student build strong fundamentals, develop problem-solving ability, and stay motivated on their path to success. 

Reso Values – The Pillars of Our Academic Culture 

  1. Resonance Hyderabad maintains an excellent academic culture by regulating the activities in several areas of concern. Students are expected to maintain attendance in accordance with the set rules and regulations. The day scholar should have 90 per cent attendance, and residential students should have 95 per cent attendance. If a student fails to maintain the stated attendance, the Resonance shall disqualify them from the internal exam, and the institution shall take disciplinary action against such students. 

  2. The Resonance shall administer corporal punishment and maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding students' misbehaviour. The institution focuses on character building, moulding students to be accountable and empathetic, and providing consistent guidance. 

Parent-Teacher Meetings – A Collaborative Journey 

  1. Throughout the year, management conducts three interactive sessions with parents and students to track the child's progress.  The timetable to schedule the meetings is:

    1. First parent-teacher management meeting - 18th Aug to 24th Aug

    2. Second Parents-Teacher Management Meeting – 27th Oct to 2nd Nov 

    3. Third Parents-Teacher Management Meeting – 29th Dec to 3rd Jan 

  2. Parents can contact management or faculty to address their queries using a constructive communication channel. A parent should make the first point of contact with the Class Coordinator, the second will be the Vice Principal, and the third will be the Principal.  

  3. Parents should register prior appointments with the relevant authorities to avoid disrupting classroom activities. 

  4. Students must observe the uniform protocol; on Saturdays, they may wear civil dress. 

  5. Resonance Hyderabad has developed a Reso Bridge App as the primary communication channel. The app functions as a tracking tool for academic progress. If the app doesn't provide the required information, they can escalate their queries through the communication matrix. Vikaas Course for IIT-JEE 

Resonance Institutions in Hyderabad run 35 junior colleges, offering a blend of regular academics and a competitive exam syllabus for IIT-JEE & NEET. The IIT-JEE course duration is 52 weeks, of which 34 weeks are dedicated to teaching the Class 11 syllabus (IPE + JEE) and 18 weeks to revision. The total duration for class IX teaching is 1210, and each class duration is 120 minutes. The total test duration is until February 26, accounting for 136 hours. Saksham Course for IIT-JEE
