ELIGIBILITY & TEAM COMPOSITION

RULES

Eligibility

  • Only currently enrolled Resonance students are eligible.
  • A student can represent only one team during the tournament.
  • Every participant must carry a valid College ID.
  • Eligibility decisions of the RCPL Organizing Committee shall be final.
TEAM FORMAT

Team Composition

Boys Category
  • Each team shall consist of 6 players.
  • Multiple teams from a campus may register for Campus Qualifiers.
Girls Category
  • Each team shall consist of 6 players.
  • Girls' teams compete up to the Campus Championship.
  • Registration process and match format remain the same as Boys.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

STAGE 01

CAMPUS LEVEL CHAMPIONSHIP

6 / 8 OVERS

Match Format

  • Mini Box Cricket format.
  • League & Knockout Matches – 6 overs per innings.
  • Campus Semi-finals & Finals – 8 overs per innings.

Campus Team Selection (Boys)

  • Winning Team (6 players) + Runner-up Team (6 players) together form the Official 12-member Campus Team.
  • Winning Team Captain becomes Campus Captain.
  • Runner-up Team Captain becomes Campus Vice Captain.

Girls Category

  • Tournament concludes at Campus Championship.
  • Campus Champion and Runner-up will be recognized and awarded.
STAGE 02

ZONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

12 OVERS

Tournament Format

  • Campuses divided into 4 Zones.
  • Each campus represented by a 12-member squad.
  • Matches played on a full-size cricket ground.
  • 12 overs per innings.
  • One winner from each zone qualifies for the Grand Finale.
STAGE 03

GRAND FINALE

20 OVERS

Championship Round

  • Four Zonal Champions compete in the Semi-finals.
  • Semi-final winners play the Grand Final.
  • 20 overs per innings.
  • Professional match experience with live streaming.

GENERAL TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

All participants are expected to follow the tournament rules and maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Registered Players Only

Only officially registered players are eligible to participate in the tournament.

Team Changes

Team changes require prior approval from the Organizing Committee.

College ID Verification

Every player must present a valid College ID before participating.

Fixture Updates

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to revise fixtures whenever required.

Final Decisions

Decisions made by the Umpires and Tournament Committee shall be final and binding.

Fair Play

Misconduct, indiscipline or unfair play may result in immediate disqualification.
