Best Wishes to JEE Main 2026 Aspirants

Synopsis:

Resonance Hyderabad greets its resonites with very warm good-luck wishes and extends the same to every JEE Main 2026 aspirant appearing across the nation. A 2-year marathon JEE preparation has culminated, and we are confident that our runners (resonites) will win ranks and accolades in this 3-hour sprint race. Here is some valuable information to help every JEE Main aspirant navigate the 3-hour exam journey cautiously.

From the upcoming lines, every JEE aspirant can review essential parameters, such as reminders, the documents to be disclosed at the entry level of exam premises, and the main exam centres across Telangana and A.P., at random. The last and most important issue is the handling of the computer screen, to be handled cautiously by those appearing for the very first time.

Reminder to JEE Main Aspirants:

JEE Main 2026 candidates will be permitted entry between 07:30 am and 8:30 am for the morning shift and between 1:30 and 2:30 pm for the afternoon shift. The paper 1 exams will be held on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 28th of January, and the paper 2 exam will be held on the 29th of January in two shifts, 9 am to 12 pm and 3:00 pm to 6 pm.

Important documents for disclosure at the JEE Main Examination Centre:

  1. Keep a printout of the Admit Card.

  2. Fingerprints should be applied in the mentioned box of the application form.

  3. Carry a passport-sized photograph and an original identity card that was uploaded to the application form.

Main Examination Centres in Towns & Cities of AP & Telangana:

  1. In 2025, there were 21 examination centres in Andhra Pradesh, and this number has increased to 28 with the addition of 7 more. In 2026, they are Bhimavaram, Chittor, Eluru, Guntur, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajamahendravaram, Srikakulam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tadepallingudem, Adoni, Amalapuram, Madanapalli, Markapu, Rayachoti, Tadiparthi, and Tiruvur.

  2. In 2025, there were 11 examination centres in Telangana, and this number has increased to 14 with the addition of 3 more. In 2026, they are Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal, Nizamabad, Suryapet, Siddipet, Jagtial, Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Adilabad, Kodada, and Peddapalli.

Computer Screen Looks Simple, Handle Cautiously:

  1. Understand the Colours of the Question Palette

    1. You must realise that the question palette is displayed on the right side of the screen and shows the question's updated status.

      1. A white colour indicates that the question has not yet been seen.

      2. A red colour indicates that the question has been viewed but not yet answered.

      3. A green colour indicates that the question has been answered and saved.

      4. A Purple colour indicates that the question is marked for review.

      5. A Green with Purple colour indicates that the question has been answered and is under review. Moreover, it will be evaluated.

  2. Handle numerical value questions on the computer screen carefully!

    1. Section B consists of numerical-value questions that usually do not carry negative marking. These questions involve typing while answering and, in addition, require using the mouse to enter the answer using the virtual keypad.

  3. Eye on the Screen Timer available on the top-right corner

    1. JEE Main 2026 is the computer based test, which means there is no manual intervention. Therefore, when the countdown reaches zero, the test will automatically shut down. So, to avoid last-minute panic, keep an eye on the timer now and then to adjust your time for answering questions.

  4. Select the Save and Move, Mark to Review buttons.

    1. Never forget to press the save and next button after your answer selection. Otherwise, your answer shall never get recorded. Another important button is the 'mark for review' button. If you use it, you can return to your half-assessed answer later.

Summary:

In brief, the entire information is filled with warm greetings and best wishes for the resonites as well as the entire JEE Main aspirant community. A few important parameters are mentioned solely to caution JEE aspirants, as some of them will be appearing for the very first time.
