  1. The candidate must visit the official website @jeeadv.nic.in

  2. The candidate must click on the online direct registration for foreign national candidates and the OCI/PCI link.

  4. The candidate must click the submit button of the JEE Advanced and print a copy of their application for future reference. 

Essential documents for uploading on JEE Advanced 2026 Registration:

  7. The foreign candidate should upload important documents, such as a foreign passport and a citizenship certificate. It should be in PDF format and be between 50 & 500 KB.  

  8. If the candidate is applying for the first time, then the Class 12 marks sheet is not mandatory. At the same time, the marks sheet should be in PDF format and between 50 and 500 KB. 

Important Note:

  1. The candidate must upload the file in the correct format and within the specified size limits before submitting. 

  2. Candidates who obtained a card before March 4, 2021, are treated as Indian nations and are eligible accordingly. While others who have obtained cards after March 4, 2021, are considered foreigners. 

Specific conditions apply to OCI/PIO & Foreign Candidates:  

  1. The Indians living abroad under the Indian Citizenship Act must qualify for JEE Advanced, which means they must appear for JEE Main and then take JEE Advanced. They must be a part of the top 2.5 lakh students selected under the cutoff of the General Category, and they are included in the Common Rank List, CRL. 

  2. Foreign students need not appear for JEE Main; they can apply directly for JEE Advanced. They do compete for supernumerary seats, as they constitute 10% of the total number of seats. 

Key features that apply to PIO and Foreign Students 

  1. OCI or PIO candidates are not eligible for reservation benefits, such as GEN-EWS or OBC-NCL. SC or ST categories. 

  2. The candidates are eligible to take JEE Advanced for two consecutive years, say 2026 & 2027. 

  3. The foreign candidate or PIO candidate is eligible for two consecutive years, say 2025\2026 or 2026\2027.
