Army Invites JEE Main Qualified for 4-yr Technical Course

Synopsis:

The Indian Army opens its doors for the JEE-qualified aspirants interested in serving the nation in the technical stream.  Candidates who aspire to become officers in the Indian Army can apply for the Technical Entry Scheme ( TES-56) course. Candidates will need to complete the recruitment process by enrolling on the official website for a 4-year technical course. The following lines provide basic information about the TES-54.  

Essence of the TES - 56 course:

According to the official notification published on the website, it is mandatory for JEE candidates to have qualified in the examination, and they will have to compete for 90 vacancies under the Technical Entry Scheme (TCE).

Eligibility Criteria for 4-year Technical Course:

1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, and mathematics, PCM subjects. 

2. The candidate must have qualified in JEE Main 2026.

3. The applicant's age must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years.

Four-year Technical Training:

The selected candidates will undergo four years of technical training, and upon completion of the course, the Indian Army will grant them permanent commission as Lieutenants.
