Admit Cards released online on Saturday, 17, 2026! This gears up the JEE Main exam fever to the next level. By now, lakhs of JEE Main candidates must have tapped the NTA official website on their desktops, downloading and rehearsing their journey from home to the examination hall and back. It is this period when your mindset takes a different turn. Around you, everybody begins to air their feelings, and you get to know exam tips from your dear and near ones for free. For a while, your mind travels ahead in time and dares to visualise the exam day's events. However, this blog helps a reader understand quick ways to download their admit card hassle-free and a few tips to ease their mind about what they shouldn't forget during examination time. A candidate must visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
The candidate must click the hyperlink 'JEE Main Admit Card' and wait for the webpage to load.
The candidate must enter the login credentials, such as the application number, date of birth, or password, as applicable.
The candidate must check the details such as name, exam date, shift, and centre.
The candidate should execute the download option and take the printout to present at the examination hall.

Carry the admit card and check it before leaving home.
Carry a self-declaration form duly signed to present at the examination entrance.
Carry your authentication through PAN card, AADHAR card, Licence, Passport, or ration card, class 12 admit card, or bank passbook with a photograph. Be mindful, it is for photo identity proof.
You must carry a photograph uploaded to the JEE Main application portal. The physical photograph is pasted on the attendance sheet.
It is mandatory to carry a transparent ballpoint pen.
If you are physically challenged, you must carry the attested certificate from a medical officer.
The admit card contains instructions; you should read them carefully without negligence.
Report to your exam centre at the time mentioned on your admit card.
You must check for your essential materials as soon as you sit down.
You should be in your seats on time; you will miss important information from the invigilators.
You are free to contact the Superintendent or the Invigilator for any emergency or technical difficulty you encounter during the exam.
You must be vigilant of the question paper you receive from the invigilator, and in case you obtain a different question paper, you should take it to the invigilator's notice.
According to the NTA guidelines, you are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets, measuring devices, handbags, purses, stationery, or water bottles.
In addition, you shouldn't carry earphones, a microphone, a pager, a calculator, a document, a camera, or a tape recorder.
You should wear clothes with minimal pockets. Moreover, you should keep jewellery and metallic items away from you before you make an entry into the exam hall.
NTA doesn't take responsibility for any delays you make to reach the examination hall.
NTA shall take stern action if any candidate furnishes wrong information and reappears for the examination on more than one occasion ( shift/date). Such fraudulent actions can lead to the cancellation of your examination, and you shall be barred from examination for the next three years.
The examination centre shall issue rough sheets for conducting calculations.
The NTA shall never change the examination date for you for any reason other than the assigned scheduled date and time.
Important Note:
Candidates should keep a hard copy of the JEE 2026 confirmation page, admit card, and scorecard, as they will not be available online after July 31.
