Synopsis:
The results of TS Intermediate are highly significant, as they determine students' academic pathways for a bright future. And the entire Intermediate board is awaiting the honourable Chief Minister, Sri Revanth Reddy's approval.
Regarding the Inter results, the Telangana Government Intermediate Board will declare the Intermediate 1 & 2-year results between April 10 and 12, 2026. The candidates who have appeared for Inter 1 & 2 examinations shall be allowed to download their marks memo from the TG's officially designated website or receive it via WhatsApp on their registered smartphone. The Telangana Government has also opened alternative channels, such as Digilocker and SMS. In addition, the officially registered websites are tgbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in. The Telangana Government is opening alternate channels for intermediate students to avoid time loss.
The first- and second-year candidates of intermediate should use their hall ticket number on the designated website page to receive their provisional marks memo. After reviewing their marks, students can apply for re-evaluation or request answer script copies. Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects can reappear for the examination in June or July.
Soon after the Inter results are declared, a student should visit TGIB's official website and enter the roll number mentioned on the hall ticket. The web portal shall display the online marks memo, which should be downloaded for future reference.
The Telangana Government has provided access to the digital mark memo on the Digilocker platform and via SMS. The inter student must send a message over SMS, and the results shall be delivered instantly. The message should be "Sending TSGEN1 ( 1 year) or TSGEN2 (2nd year) to 56563." Students can use DigiLocker for inter results using their phone number or Aadhaar card.
Telangana has introduced a mechanism to support students who are dissatisfied with their results. Students can apply for re-evaluation or request the answer script online.
Students who fail in one or two subjects can avail themselves of the opportunity to appear for supplementary exams, which are likely to be held in June or July.
If a student fails in all three subjects, they should reappear in the next academic year.
Digital downloads of the original mark sheets serve as provisional certificates; the original certificates can be obtained from the respective colleges.
Never before in the history of the Telangana Intermediate Board has it conducted examinations on such a large scale. In 2025-26, a total of 5,07,949 appeared for the Intermediate exam; of them, First Year candidates, and 5,07,949 were Second Year candidates.
The Telangana Government has enabled the intermediate board to use web app tools to manage Inter students' results uninterrupted. Students can check their results via the authorised web portal, WhatsApp, DigiLocker, and SMS. However, students are waiting with their fingers crossed for the Telangana Intermediate first- and second-year results.
