JEE Main 2026 Paper Leak Claims Go Viral, NTA Clarifies

With the up beat swing of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exams, paper leak claims panicked candidates appearing for Session 1 exams. NTA gave an immediate clarification to the select community of candidates who are taking JEE Main 2026 test. Below, NTA clarifies through a briefing on the ongoing paper leak buzz on Twitter . 

Since few days, several campaigns were carried out by discripents on the social media platform, which turned out to be misleading and were presentations of unethical practices. The statement 'paper leak' on social media has led NTA to consider the matter seriously as such fraudulent claims can ruin the mindset of the JEE Main exam participants. By referring to the claims, NTA has undertaken responsible steps to advice the candidates not to believe in statements that promise them to assist with paper leak issue. In due course, the NTA has asked candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 not to make any payment in exchange of paper leaked question. Further, NTA clarified that no question papers are released or sold or shared through social media platforms, therefore, not to lose money by spending money over the fraudulent claims. It said, such attempts are simply to deceive the students by tempting them to score higher marks but the underlying act is to extort money. 

Advertisement of such order, quite often, ask for personal details and on believing those advertisers, a candidate can incur financial losses as a result of false information. However, it urged candidates to get in contact with the official website of NTA before getting committed to such drastic actions for clarifications.
