JEE Main Session 2 Application Window Reopens

Synopsis: 

NTA is highly pleased with the multiple representations from the candidates requesting an extension or reopening of the online application portal for the submission of the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application and its fee payment. 

In its response, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application link from March 12 (afternoon) to 13 (09:00 pm). The payment of the fee on the submitted application is extended until 11:50 p.m. on March 13, 2026. Below are the key details to consider when submitting the application form. 

Important Issues for Consideration:

1. Who can apply for the application filing and fee payment?

1. Candidates who wish to avail of this opportunity should be those who were unable to submit their application forms or complete their fee payment earlier. 

2. Another important fact to note: 

1. candidates who have already submitted their applications need not reapply, and in addition, such candidates shall not be permitted to make changes to their already submitted application forms.  

3. Reference to fill in the Application forms:

1. As the application requires proper knowledge to fill out, the required information can be obtained from the instruction manual; however, it is advised to refer to the Public notice dated February 01, 2026.

4. Important Advice to Applicants:

1.  As the current reopening of the portal is an obligation only on the NTA, it is advised that the candidate complete the registration process accurately and precisely. No extended period will be allowed, nor will any correction facility be provided for these applications submitted during this reopening session.
