TGBIE Assures to Change the Inter Practical Exam Dates if they clash with JEE Main 2026

Synopsis: 

The Telangana Government Board of Intermediate Education has released the board exam timetable for the 2025-26 academic year. During the release, the Intermediate board has assured 2nd-year intermediate students that it will create a special provision for students appearing for the board exam practicals in January and February, so that their practical exams do not clash with their JEE Main 2026 schedules.

Telangana Board - Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) 

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released a notification for inter students regarding their first- and second-year examinations. 

1. The details are available on the official website at www.tgbie.cgg.gov.in. The notification details for the subject-wise exam dates, days, and timings for the science, commerce, and arts streams. 

2. The first-year exam theory will run from February 21, 2026, to March 17, 2026, and the second-year exam theory will run from February 22, 2026, to March 18, 2026. 

3. The intermediate board will conduct the public practical exam between February 2 and February 21, 2026, including Sundays. These examinations shall be in the morning session (9:00 am - 12 noon) and afternoon session (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm).  

4. The board will schedule English practical examinations for first- and second-year students on January 21, 2026, and January 22, 2026.

5. The board will conduct an environmental education examination on 24th January 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

6. For backlog students, the board shall conduct the Ethics and Human Values examination on 23rd January 2026 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
