Live Student Reaction:

In Telangana, NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2026 exam in 14 cities. Resonance institutions take the initiative to build trust and confidence among students who have to appear in upcoming exams by seeking live student reactions at various examination centres across Telangana. These live student reactions capture the interactions between exam candidates and anchors, who gain first-hand insight into the toughness of the paper on a given day and related shifts (morning & afternoon). The viewer will gain comprehensive insight into the difficulty levels of the exam papers, including mathematics, physics, and chemistry.  Interested candidates can have a complete understanding of the ongoing examinations through live student reactions. JEE Main 2026 Unofficial Answer Key:

Resonance Institutions help JEE Main 2026 exam candidates in tracking down the correct and incorrect answers by listening attentively to the live question answer analysis on the same day, just a few minutes after their exam is complete. Candidates can easily and instantly view their scorecard and even estimate their approximate percentile based on previous-year percentiles and the overall toughness of the paper.

How are your scores and percentile calculated at NTA?

Candidates can easily calculate their expected score after taking their Session 1 exam, as scheduled on any exam day (shift 1 or shift 2).

JEE Main 2026 Session 1: Marking Scheme

  1. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main Paper-1 ( B.E. or B.Tech) courses can calculate their scores based on the preset parameters, such as:

  2. A Candidate will get +4 marks for correct answers.

  3. The candidate shall be penalised with a -1 for each incorrect answer.

  4. The candidate shall be awarded 0 marks for the unattempted questions.

Expected Score=(Number of Correct Answers×4)–(Number of Wrong Answers×1)

The final result will display the expected score, and the candidate will receive the raw marks out of 300, which are the sum of the scores in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

Important Note:

The NTA conducts the JEE Main 2026 exam on specific days with morning and afternoon shifts. The exam paper may be easy in one shift, moderate or tough in another. To evaluate the performance of candidates who took the exam on different days and shifts, NTA uses normalisation, the most neutral method to evaluate every participating candidate in the JEE Main 2026 exam.

Percentile= (100 X Number of candidates scoring

Note: The highest scorer on a shift on exam day will get a 100.000 percentile.

Remember, the higher percentile across the multiple shifts will serve as the baseline for computing the All India Rank (AIR).

Key takeaways: To calculate rank scores for JEE Main 2026:

  1. Candidates must never compare marks across shifts on exam days. The marks obtained by candidates can vary depending on the difficulty level of the question paper, covering all subjects, including mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

  2. Candidates must think in terms of percentile, as their qualifying levels depend on two factors: the category they belong to and the cutoff percentile. Marks never defend a candidate's rank score and apply to all shifts.

How to check your answers on the written JEE Main 2026 test?

Resonance Institutions in Hyderabad are supporting the interests of the candidates who have participated in the JEE Main 2026 examination by providing unofficial question paper analysis. The candidates can check their answers by logging in to the live sessions for shift 1 or shift 2, whichever is applicable.

NTA Official Website Provides Solutions to all Shift Question Papers:

Candidates can use an alternative method to check their JEE Main 2026 exam performance. NTA shall post the solutions for every shift conducted on select exam days on the official website in 3 to 4 days after the completion of the session 1 exams. Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 can use the assigned link on the NTA official website to check their performance.
